I flew another cargo run today, this time in the Antonov 225 from OMSJ to LMML. I did not like the way that this plane handled on the ground, it kind of rocked back and forth in turns, and it turned on a dime and moved like a Lear 45. It was an uneventful flight, but the landing was fun. I was about 7 miles out from LMML on an ILS approach to 32 and ATC cleared an Air Malta A319 for take off. The runway that I was coming in on did not have taxi ways that lead to the end of the runway, and I thought that the A319 was backtracking on my runway. I called out for a go around and then realized that he was on another runway. So I did a go around for no reason! But I did get a nice view of the cliffs on the island though, so I guess it was a "sight seeing go around".

Exactly! I love 757's so I just had to get one in US N/C.

No prob! One quick question, what website do you use to upload the shots?

Ok well I had quite a bit of fun cruising around the SF bay today in my FA-18 Super Hornet. I managed to get under every bridge around the bay. Enjoy!

Photobucket, but after looking at some other shots, I think I'm going to make the switch to ImageShack. The only problem is that I'm away from the computer that has FS on it.

I'm a big fan of the '57 as well. BTW, what do you use for a 2D panel for it? I tried one supposedly desinged for the POSKY 757, but it kept crashing to the desktop.

which 767 panel is that? It looks quite good.

Actually that's a whole package. It's the Level-D 767, the best payware I ever bought. You can get it at Flight1.com.

I found it on Avsim, not sure of the filename but just search "FA-18 Super Hornet" and you should get it.

Azza:
Considering the number of entries, it may be a few days before they sort out a winner.

Aaron:
I looked on Avsim, but I'm not finding it. I see all sorts of references to it, but I can't find that panel. Would you happen to have the zip file with that panel in it? If so, drop me a PM.

Csturdiv: Where did you get that AWESOME Antonov 225? I have always wanted to do a flight in one. That looks like a great exterior model!

Freedomtofly: Thanks! I'll try that.

Hi all,

I havent been able to announce winners of the competition yet as I have been having a lot of problems with my PC over the past few days...

Once it is all fixed I shall announce who has won.
