Great shots guys. Ben I have a question for you, you have some very nice shots, but no airport scenery, why?

I wanted to do a flight without taking shots (so I don't have to pause it all the time) but by the end I felt bad for not taking any, so here's a few from the last 5-10 minutes of the flight.

Cathay Pacific flight 872

Aaron, use a screenshot program! I use a program called Snapshooter and whenever I want to take a screenshot, I just hit Print Screen and it'll save the screenshot as a jpg into a folder that I want. No pausing to paste in the image.

I have a program called FSScreen which does just that, but I have to pause the flight to get a good angle and take the shot. I guess I could just keep flying, but I like it paused better, especially for rotation shots.

It's a scenery made to increase runways and buildings details. It will affect every aiports that haven't been modified.

I've run into a few problems with the sounds for the MD-87, because they crashed my computer twice. So I had to think of how I could salvage that flight, so I swapped one Maddog with one Mightydog and reactivated this ship:

The MD-87 that followed me on the final approach and taxi to the gate was operating SK1712 as well. I guess the AI didn't realise I was doing it.

LTU - I really like those AA 777 shots.

Csturdiv - Great shots, I've been wanting that Flight1 ATR for so long, how do you like it? Is it worth 30 bucks?

Here's my latest. Oh btw, I've made it to the "top views" list on VPP for one of my AF 777 shots. http://virtual.planepictures.net/show.cgi?129706

Two flights yesterday, the first to KRK and the other to TPA. Unfortunately, FS gave me a CTD while I was about to finish taxiing to the stand in TPA, plus by some unknown cause, my FlyTampa TPA scenery wasn't activated. Which means, I'll have to do another flight to Tampa later, but with DL in Deltaflot colours and to BOS, to make up for the lack of scenery yesterday. On the LGW flight, I overflew three airports: BRU, FRA and PRG.

Without any further adue...

Flight 1:
Airline: British Airways
Aircraft: Boeing 737-5H6 (G-GFFH)
Flight number: BA2774
Departure Airport: London/Gatwick Airport, United Kingdom (LGW/EGKK)
Destination: Kraków-Balice/John Paul II International Airport, Poland (KRK/EPKK)
Departure time: 07:35
Arrival time: 11:05

Flight 2:
Airline: Southwest Airlines
Aircraft: Boeing 737-3H4 (N352SW, Lone Star One)
Flight number: WN2605
Departure Airport: Pittsburgh (Greater Pittsburgh) International Airport, Pennsylvania (PIT/KPIT)
Destination: Tampa International Airport, Florida (TPA/KTPA)
Departure time: 06:50
Arrival time: 09:15

Aircraft: Flight1 ATR72-500
Flight number: 5048

Destination: Queen Beatrix Airport, Aruba (AUA/TNCA)

Flight 5048 normally departs at 6:30p, but I opted to fly during the day to see the scenery of Aruba. It was a quiet flight, almost dragged the tail on landing. And Aruba was rather quiet when I landed. A DL B752 took off for JFK minutes before I landed and as I was pulling into the gate an US A319 was making his way to the active for departure to BOS.

I tried the thumbnails but they didn't work, so I just poseted the links, is that alright?

As long as they aren't full sized pics, I don't think there should be a problem. As a pointer though, just go to the thumbnail code after the upload on Imageshack, click on and then select the code with CTRL-A, copy paste and you'll have posted the thumbnail.  Smile

Here's my flight for the day, with all sceneries installed. Usually a 757, but I wanted to fly the 767 again. I configured the PFD so it appears in the same configuration DL uses, without the speedtape and with the double queue flight director.

Airline: Delta Airlines
Aircraft: Boeing 767-332 (N116DL)

Thanks but i found that when i uploaded the pictures and I selected the last one and it didn't show the thumbanails so then i figuired out i picked the wrong code. so i just shortened the url to make it a link instead of a image that didn't appear because it was the wrong HTML code. next time i upload I know which one to select.

Did a round trip flight this time, real American Eagle destinations and flight numbers, but not the real flight times.

Leg 1: SJU/EIS (Beef Island, British Virgin Islands)
Leg 2: EIS/SJU

When departing Beef Island, I just about used all of the runway. The runway was getting shorter and shorter and I was waiting to hear my co-pilot tell me V1 V2 Rotate.  Smile When landing at SJU, I thought I was on visual approach for SJU but was on approach for Isla Grande (SIG) instead. When I finally got lined up for SJU, there were 4 others behind me for Rwy 10 as well as a Delta 767 waiting to depart.

It's the first time I actually fly something other than Swissair on a transatlantic flight into ZRH. Plus my first longhaul out of JFK. Landing was on Runway 34, the famous Southern Approach or "Südanflug" in German. Most of these are scenic shots from the descent all the way to the approach, which turned out to be really great.

Airline: American Airlines
Aircraft: Boeing 767-323ER (N376AN)
Flight number: AA64
Departure Airport: New York City/John Fitzgerald Kennedy (Idlewild) International Airport, United States (JFK/KJFK)
Destination: Zürich (Kloten) Airport, Switzerland (ZRH/LSZH)
Departure time: 17:20
Arrival time: 07:05

The repaint is by Edward Cox, and adapted for the Level-D 767 by Steve Drabek. Sceneries are Simflyers JFK and Flylogic Zürich.

Hi everyone! I took a little break from playing FS, but now I'm back. I flew to Salzburg today, which I might add is one hell of an approach, challenging and fun at the same time. Great shots everyone and welcome to anyone new.

Hey LTU932 -

Is that Zurich Scenery freeware? I have been flying there quite a bit with my PMDG and Level D, so how are the framerates?

Thanks
Dan

No, it's Flylogic Zürich, payware. I don't recall which exact version (probably 2003 or 2004, I'm not sure). The framerates with that scenery are actually very reasonable on my computer.

I think I've finally broken free of the chains of World of Warcraft. Reason being: I actually did a flight last night! Go me!

This was an AA flight from Tucson (KTUS) to Dallas-Ft Worth (KDFW). It's a repeat of the flight I did back on December 31st with an AA 732. I didn't get to finish as when I alt-tabbed to do the last screenshot, FS9 died, and I hadn't saved my flight. I got some good shots nonetheless, so it wasn't a total loss.

Nice pics ~Aaron. It has been a while since I have flown. I am still in the Battlefield 2 craze, I am getting close to my next rank up, so I have been playing hard lately. And right now I am downloading (6MB DSL takes the pain of the 385MB download away  Smile) the new booster pack that came out today, so my next flight will be...who knows.  Smile But a few nights ago I did install a great AI package for FedEx and also installed some smaller FedEx Feeder flightplans. I hope to get back into my wonderful Flight1 ATR72-500 soon and spot some of the FedEx birds in the sky.
