I'd love to hear opinions on this company. I like the size (1:200) and the fact that they have landing gear as well. Does anyone own these or can they tell me their thoughts on their quality?

Hogan Rock! they are partially owned by Herpa! and really have great models, so dont worry, and go get them

Hogans are great!! Sure they're not as detailed as a Herpa Premium, but they're a tenth the price!! Can always make your own improvements if you want...I'll add corogard, walkways, antennae, etc....or even change the livery, as I've done with some 757s since they're the best way to get a 1/200 model of that type.

I have a couple of Hogans as well, and I can concur that they are awesome models. Very sturdy, detailed, see-through engines and at a very reasonable price.

i like them too, i think i have 6 or 7. the only problem i have noticed is that the landing gear wont stay on very well. i decided to glue some of them in so they would stay. overall i'd say there good

yeah, I did the same thing. Sometimes it's the front gear, sometimes the main gear. Overall the gears are also from a good quality.

I agree that they're great models and you can't beat the price! I think I have about 14 Hogans sitting around. I prefer them over Skymarks (I have 8 of) because the quality seems to usually be higher and the landing gear. Skymarks is good though for their 1/100 or 1/130 of RJ's or smaller birds.

So what exactly are they made of in construction?

are you talking about 1:200 or 1:400? I don't know about the 1:400, but the 1:200 are plastic. Very sturdy and nicely detailed though.
