I also did some mods to the FS9.cfg, and most ground textures are much more crisp now. Too bad there isn't a good BA 737-400 repaint for the Fiftynorth 737 though.

Richie,

I have textures for the British Airways 737-400 by Fifty North, registration G-DOCO. It's a decent repaint although the only criticism I have of it is that the registration is in completely the wrong font and looks pretty crap! - Email me or add me to MSN ([email protected]) and I will send them over to you.

Since my FlyTampa scenery wasn't activated when I flew with WN to TPA, I decided to go to Tampa again, only to turn around and this time go to Boston on a DL 767. This is one of the few times I actually fly a DL aircraft in Deltaflot colours. This time I made sure that both FlyTampa's Tampa and George Grimshaw's BOS scenery are activated.

Airline: Delta Airlines
Aircraft: Boeing 767-332 (N116DL)
Flight number: DL1888
Departure Airport: Tampa International Airport, Florida (TPA/KTPA)
Destination: Boston/General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport, Massachusetts (BOS/KBOS)
Departure time: 11:30
Arrival time: 14:26
Cruise speed: Mach .80
Cruise altitude: 39000 feet
Estimated time on route: 2 hours 56 minutes

As for Tehran and dangerous areas on FSPassengers, I never seem to have encountered any trouble from ground fire in Iran. I had a bad lot of it once somewhere in Africa, getting shot down in a CP-140!

Yeah that can get really annoying! It annoys me that I am not able to fly to Iraq without getting shot down, because I want to do a UN flight from Europe to Iraq.

Quoting GEEZ (Reply 69):
Next up i am heading back to LHR.. UA934, using the same aircraft again, N229UA.

I fell asleep an hour before my scheduled departure of 1740... I have just set almost 4.5 hours late, getting airborne at exactly 2200, and my 1215 arrival at LHR is now expected at 1543.

RE: Your Current Flights V6

I'm a bit pissed about the fact that 4U hasn't dedicated a logojet for HAM yet, while CGN, STR and SXF all have one. They just named an aircraft after the very city, which's motto is that we're the gate to the world.

Oh well, having a second plane named after our city (LH has named D-ABTD after Hamburg as well) will have to do for now...

Airline: Germanwings
Aircraft: Airbus A319-112 (D-AKNT, City of Hamburg)
Flight number: 4U7024
Departure Airport: Hamburg (Fuhlsbüttel) Airport, Hamburg (HAM/EDDH)
Destination: Dresden (Klotzsche) Airport, Sachsen (DRS/EDDC)
Departure time: 15:30
Arrival time: 16:30
Cruise speed: 290 KIAS
Final Cruise altitude: 25000 feet
Estimated time on route: 1 hour

This plane seems to do lots of flights to DRS from HAM and back, judging from the pictures in the database.

I've just re-established the fact that I am a complete idiot  Sad I took off from the WRONG runway, 22R instead of 26R and 22R is only 7000ft long! I had to firewall the throttles and rotate too slow to takeoff in time! Jeez it scared me because I could have got 10000s of penalty points from FSP! LOL

Considering how stupidly serious I can get about this I would probably start crying  cry  ...no joking there  laughing  but it wouldn't be the first time I've gone off the end of runways.

Well what I mean is, that even though you have put it on instant record mode, you can close fs by pressing ctrl+alt+delete, and then fs passengers wont be saving your flight, if you do it right after you acidentally crashed  Wink

That is so lame!!
Because I flew with real world weather, and because the weather has been updating, sudden windgusts have made the aircraft fly faster than what is allowed, and then I get penalty points for that?!! It is only because the weather changes so suddenly. Totally unfair!

Not much you can do about it (except disabling "aircraft stress causes damage" - that'll prevent you from crashing when it happens).

I just finished a flight in the PSS 330 from CLT to FRA as US 192. Was delayed 45 minutes in CLT to wait for thunderstorms to pass through (departed at 820p instead of 735p), but with the help of some nice tailwinds over Quebec, I managed to get to the gate at FRA only 24 minutes behind schedule (1029a as opposed to 1005a).

The route was: HON2 PSK J53 LOONS J78 PSB J59 SYR J29 PLB J560 YRI BAREE N129 YAY NATV MIMKU NATV MORAG UL18 INLAK UL607 SPI UT180 DITEL T180 OSMAX OSMA2E

Took 7:55 from takeoff to touchdown.

Next up is FRA-TXL.

So far so bad for my own personal super-duper-jumbo - I just invented this "Hermes 65-1000" for medium/long range high capacity ops and found that I was a bit optimistic with performance en route. While step climbing to 36,000ft it stalled and started dropping so it was quick action to recover and I landed else where. I think I *might* need to tweak the flight dynamics!

Maybe your touchdown and approach speeds are too low. You are also landing above max landing weight, which is 310,000lbs for the 763ER. 117kts seems to low to me, on the 767 the pitch should be about 4 degrees with a speed of around 130kts on touchdown. Maintain thrust all the way to touchdown on this plane, or it drops like a rock.
