Germany's New "Airforce One"! (If I Had My Way)

Wed Nov 01, 2006 12:14 pm

What's up everybody?

So I found this free A380 template online and decided to use my crative side.
This is Germany's new VIP transport as I have envisioned in my head, to replace the current lovely (but small :-/) A310. Of course it would never happen, but it never hurts to dream!

What do you think? Keep in mind I created this in Microsoft Paint, lol.

Wow, that's really nice! Much simpler than Air Force One, but I like the styling much better on yours. Very creative, and yet I could totally see this as Germany's official livery.  bigthumbsup

I don't know, why this "Dem Deutschen Volke"? It should be "Der bekloppten Deutschen Regierung".

Anyway, would this be "deficit spending"? An A380 would be nice, but an A345 should be enough, in my opinion.

Thorben

It's just a what-if scheme, I never planned on submitting it to the Bundestag for consideration.

Have a little imagination, perhaps.

Thanks! And the template, with many others, is on the Modified Airliner Photos website, here's a link to the template page: http://www.cardatabase.net/modifieda.../blank/index.main?template=drawing

Maybe not an A345, but I did make a concept of an A346 of the GAF. It's based on the CLS A346 paintkit.

Don't ask if I'll release this for FS, I didn't save it.

Just out of curiosity, and a bit of ignorance on my part - what is the significance of 1949?

It's the year when the Federal Republic of Germany was founded (the GDR, which later merged with the West, was founded in the same year as well).

A new plane could actually get 1990, don't you think?

Why not? After all, 1990 is when both German republics became one.

Yep, I heard that recently on the radio, reminded me of the old days in West Berlin. A really funny song.

Problem is by the time Germany got the A380 delivered it would split and reform again!
