I take the screenshot using Fraps (Payware) and then convert it from .bmp to .jpg using Photoshop CS2.

Wow, Chris... Do you use AI models like Aardvark, EvolveAI, and FSPainter like us mere mortals? That shot of pushing back at DFW is breathtaking!

I have to agree with San747, that push-back shot is amazing. To think somewho mine could be that good is rather strange. What other AI do you use besides the ones he mentioned?

OK, time for me to contribute photos to this thread for once! This is my first flight for AFA (my VA) in something like 55 days, and I had become inactive, so I put my ass in gear and flew a quick LAX-PHX segment...

Taxiing at out at 15:00 local time-

Climbing out over the Pacific-

Los Angeles from above (yes, I have MegaScenery)-

Flying over my residence/development in my hometown-

The circle is my development, and the at the very end of the arrow, you'll see a black blob which is my house!

Phoenix coming into view-

On finals after an unexpected runway assignment change-

And just before touching down, note the Southwest special scheme airliner in the back, I believe it's Lone Star One-

I'll be posting some random AI shots soon, I just discovered this utility from MRAI called the "AI Traffic View Board" where you can just chill, spot what's at the airport, follow any a/c, find out all the relevant info, etc etc. It's pretty sweet!

Looking good Christo!

Got my laptop on Wednesday, bought 737/777 packages. Installed ACOF, lovely job. Was running so fast! This morning, as I was logging on, it wouldnt. Lol.

Keeps pausing on a file named AGPCDQ.sys

Sucks.

But I did start a flight lol, TCX401K, Gatwick - Zakynthos, on a 757-200!

Just two pictures, but they're from my upcoming CDG-BOS flight with AF, which prompted me to buy the Simwings CDG scenery. My first AF longhaul since I did CDG-PHL over a year ago.

Lately I've been doing alot of flying, but have been focusing on the quality of my screenshots, not quantity. I've also had lots of fun editing with Photoshop.

Hope you like them!

Nice pics, but they are being let down by the jaggy lines on the edges of the fuselage. In your editing, try using some blur techniques aswell to try and eliminate the jaggies, maybe a touch of gaussian blur etc. Also, make sure that Anti Aliasing is UNCHECKED in your FS settings, and have high anti-aliasing and antiscropic filtering on your graphics card settings.

I have a question about that. Will choosing those settings affect my FPS? I like actually being able to fly into LAX or LHR without my computer slowing to 3 FPS, will that change with the new settings?

It depends on how quick your PC is. Changing them settings does have an effect on FPS. How badly it effects FPS depends on how fast your PC is.

Up until 2 months ago, when I had my old system I couldn't change my graphics card settings to high because it caused my FS to literally stand still. - Thankfully on my new system I have all of my graphics card settings to maximum and it has no effect on FPS whatsoever.

So I would say to you try it, and see how it goes.

Hello all, been away for a while, all kinds of crap has happened lately and I won't bore you with it.
Lovely shots all, as always. And I suppose most of you haven't bought FSX yet. I haven't since I need about a $1000 worth of upgrades to my rig to run it properly, and the person in charge in my household won't allow it. She has some weird idea of going to bask in the sun in some resort, doesn't she understand that simming is more important? Big grin

Well, my PC finally arrived home from hospital on sunday evening  rotfl  and I been working hard getting it back to normal... and my FS is gradually getting back to what it should be with regards to AI traffic and scenery etc...

Here are some shots of my Qatar Airways flight I completed an hour or so back:

A7-ACK

(Overland model)

That's all for now!
