I have a small, very selective collection of models.

Most of mine (3) are large-scale kits that I built and custom-painted:

1) 1:100 Doyusha 747-100--custom-painted in SMITH AIRWAYS metallic green-and-gold Celtic colour scheme with a gold Celtic tail design very similar to BA's "Colum/Ireland" World Tail scheme. (Built in 2002)

2) 1:125 Heller 747-100--custom-painted in an older SMITH AIRWAYS scheme, with a metallic green upper fuselage and green and gold cheatline and silver belly, and a gold tail with a metallic green Aer Lingus-type shamrock. (Built in 1997)

3) Unknown scale (1:144?) Lockheed L-1011--Dad and I built this and originally put the Eastern Airlines "hockey stick" stripes on it, but a few years ago, I stripped it and repainted it in an experimental metallic sapphire blue and ruby livery. (Built in 1985, repainted in 1997)

I also have 2 large-scale diecast models (1:200):

1) Inflight 200 (1:200) 747-131 TWA twin red stripes bold titles (I got this to commemorate my one and only 747 trip, with TWA in 1994).

2) London Models (formerly InflightLE) 1:200 747-148 Aer Lingus green top (My favourite--as an Irishman)

I used to have a lot of 1:400 models, but I got rid of them all. My only remaining 1:400 is a Gemini Jets Aer Lingus 747-148, EI-ASI "St Patrick/Padraig".

This is what my collection is now; it is just as small as I want it--only the models that REALLY mean something to me.

I have about 51 models of various scales, all of them plastic, snap-together, and with pre-printed graphics.

The majority of the models are either Long Prosper, Skymarks, or Hogan.

All of the models currently hang off of my ceiling, which is sky-blue and contains clouds.

At one time I had over 100 1/100 scale and larger aircraft models in my house. I had five book cases full of
them. Unfortunately the Earthquakes in So.CAL damaged most of them, so I sold them off.
I have about 150 1/400 diecast aircraft packed away in storage right now, but I have an 8ft long glass
display case that I use to display them when they are out.

I collect 1/100th scale (and larger) travel agency style models. I posted these pictures in a similar thread a few months ago.

I've started collecting models of aircraft/airlines I work with on a daily basis. Still fresh in my occupation, so this is all I have for now.

Couldn't find a Dash8-100, so I had to settle with the 400, even though I've never worked with one yet.
