Hi,
We do not post our footage on You Tube or FL350 at this time...
We do have a Caravelle DVD which includes a flight in the cabin however that program is now sold out.

Sounds like Brussels airlines with some Afircan destinations. Great. I loved the Sobelair program. If the pilots are as good, it should be another great program!!

Actually it is not Brussels Airlines... it is the airline that replaced Sobelair so if you liked the Sobelair programs we produced in the past, this one is just like it...

Jetairfly it is folks. A 738, 763 and a F100 on some interesting routes. Should be a good one (as always) I reckon.

Just a question for JP. Any chance of either an A330 or an A340 DVD before the end of the year?

Sure do. Most of the ones that I don't have already are very rarely available to my local store. Guess I'll have to order a few online.

I would think that your store could order it for you from the UK distributor... They have all the titles and if one of them is not in stock they get it with the next delivery... but as you said, if not you can always get them online..

Re-run of Cubana DVD with the An-24, Yak-42, and Il-62?

Hi Tim,
The Cubana DVD just sold out not that long ago so if there will be a 2nd run I dount it would be anytime before 2-3 years from now at the earliest...
And as far as upcoming programs we never really know in advance which airports are being done... although the next one, coming in November, is a US Airport... Should be on website in a week or so...

hahaha... actually the mess up occured at the plant in California resulting in a shipping delay for the bulk of the Jetairfly DVDs. We did get 2 boxes in but that does not cover what we ship out to London so we had to hold their entire shipment... I believe these are now due to arrive at our warehouse on Thursday so they would leave on Friday and arrive on Monday in London...

At Just Planes we don't have a 2nd class, sorry... every one gets 1st class here  Smile and no extra charge either...

Yep, like an Alaska MD 80 program for example  Wink , if AS still has the MD 80 that is...

I'm guessing another 717 program will be a bit hard, seeing as there are so few 717 operators.

I would also LOVE to see an E-jet program.  bigthumbsup

Now that i've finnished it and posted my comments to Just Planes saying what a good film it was. There is one question i was hopeing JPV might help me with. When you follow a flight that requires a crew change; it seemes as though the director has stayed with the plane. I.E. The plane lands at the airport the crew depart and the new crew take over and the director flyes back with the new crew. At the time of change over in the past it seemes to be only a matter of an hour or two saince the plane had arrived at the airport to it's departure. Yet in the case of Jetfly the plane lands at Cancun in darkness and departes in daylight well evening at least, but there is still daylight. What was the turnover time between the flight landing and then departing. ( I hope you can understand that, if so can you explane what i have said to me.)

THANKS

Actually he stays in Cancun with the crew for a few days and then returns to Brussels, that's why on the return flight, which is earlier because it has another routing than Montego Bay, they depart Cancun earlier than the one that goes via Montego Bay... You may see another Captain on the Cancun departure but if you remember the guy who does the presentation in Brussels, that's him... They depart with 2 Captains and 1 First Office and each of the Captains will be in charge, one on the Westbound and the other on the Eastbound.
It is correct that sometimes our crew stays on and sometimes they don't... it really depends on various factors in the filming.
And thanks for emailing us your comments... We always appreciate that very much!!

Thanks for that explanation. It must be hard for there crewing section as if i heard it correctly at the begining Jetfly have only 1 767.

You have delighted us on many occations with flights accross the Atlantic; is it too much to ask about a flight accross the Pacific. I can only think of the Polar Air Cargo film but that did not mention anything about procedures etc.

Here's hopeing

Hey JP, any hints on the re-release of Nov 9? I'm still hoping the Air Seychelles and KLM Cityhopper DVD's will see a new release.

Hi,
Neither of those are on the planning... KLM City has already had 2 runs so its not a priority although certainly a possibility... Air Seychelles I doubt it will get a new run at all... Some times that are just medium sellers don't get another run simply because we can't stock more titles that don't sell at a certain speed... We are limited to just over 100,000 DVDs in our warehouse so that plays a major part...

Thanks Tim... The GOL was a natural for a 2nd run... First of all it sold out faster than expected, secondly GOL is expanding rapidly and now with Varig being part of the game, these are 2 of the most popular carriers in Brazil which is a big market... I happen to watch the program this afternoon and I find it very spectacular. The scenery is just incredible in Brazil and there are many approaches and departures from Congonhas Airport at Sao Paulo which was in the news a lot recently so you can really get a feel for what the airport and its surroundings look like, also flying into Santos Dumont at Rio is neat with the scenery all around the place... and many other places in the country. The pilots were great too, you see they make special efforts to explain everything very well in English and they specially do ATC communications in English when its normally done in Portuguese. Between VARIG and GOL you have there 2 of fantastic airlines that have given our series an enormous boost!

The team on the Spain-Brasil flight in the 777 DVD are one of the best/most friendly crews you have had on any of your DVDs.

Any chance we will see anything more from India? I was watching the Spicejet DVD last night and wish there were more DVDs from India. If you could get someone like Jet Airways it would be a good seller I reckon but I assume getting permission to film in India is a big problem?

Isn't there a Las Vegas DVD out? I went to go get it on Saturday, but the guy at ADI Airplane Shop said he hadn't heard anything about it, however, he did say that someone came from Just Planes to film some departures from 25R a couple of weeks ago.. I ask because I received an email about it..

The Varig crews have all been extremely nice and that 777 crew was exceedingly welcoming indeed!

I think that speculating about which airlines will be coming in the series is really not good... one never knows which airline will come and which won't...
I think we should be very happy with those airlines that join the series or those that go for a 2nd or even 3rd program because it means that these are the airlines that are interested in the World Air Routes and those are the ones we want to work with... It's better for us to work with airlines that want this rather than to go out of our way to get a specific airline in the series...

Yes, I confirm we released a Las Vegas Airport DVD this past Friday... so its normal for ADI not to know about this on Saturday... it will probably be some time before they have them in stock because they are not supplied directly by us but rather by another distributor so it could be anywhere from a couple of weeks to a month... but I'm not 100% sure...

No new program is planned with Virgin Blue because of their new security policy.... unfortunately...
We're not living in the same world as pre-

It's better for us to work with airlines that want this rather than to go out of our way to get a specific airline in the series...

Thanks for thoes coments.

Yes it is true we are liveing in a post 9-11 world which was not only turned upside down but shouk violently. I can now see how difficult your job is. The other cockpit company ITVV based in the UK seems to have struggled as well.

My hat goes off to you for providing good qualty programs long may it continue

While it does not look likely, you never know with Airport DVDs... That's why I don't like to predict which places will and/r will not be filmed...

I really can't speculate as to which airlines and airports will be released in the future..
I can tell you we will never film Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Emirates etc... because those are obvious.. but other than that its all pretty much open
