I wanted to make sure I had every last detail and that it was as accurate as possible. As a result, it took quite a while to complete. Like I said, it was a big step-up from anything I'd drawn before, so I spent a lot of time tweaking and re-working things, and trying new techniques. Altogether I spent hundreds of hours on it. It was worth it though, as I'm very satisfied with the end result.
