Farnborough/Fairford Airshow Frequencies

Wed Jul 02, 2008 10:55 pm

I have the good fortune of being able to attend both the Farnborough airshow and the Fairford airshow this year in the UK, does anybody know what the best radio frequencies are to listen to? This will be my first time at an airshow with my scanner, what can you tune in to and what sorts of things can I look forward to being able to hear?

Possibly more importantly, what are the laws regarding scanning at airshows? I know that during day to day airport operations you shouldn't really be listening but I assume at airshows the authorities will accept that many people there will want to listen in.

Thankyou in advance,

Dan
