Ha, of course! Forgot about those bad boys!

Barajas scenery looks cool. You should see the afcad I had...dear god...houses on parking ramps...an IB 346 INSIDE a building...it did look hilarious though with it 's head poppin out watching everything else taxi past.

I'm curious...do you use the one LX Airbus all the time or are you working your way through all the reg's? And are they IFDG or Project Airbus? I'm an IFDG gal meself.

LOL! Sounds more like an installation and flatten issue, I need to tweak mine, change the runway configuration.

I have all the registrations for the A319s A320s and A321s and I use whichever reg is operating the flight I recreate on the sim... all thanks to the Zurich Airport website.

But as of lately all the flights I want to do are mostly operated by A320s LOL.

I use the ProjectAirbus A319 and A320 and Overland for the A321, I hope ProjectAirbus makes an A321 soon!

Just curious because I have the A320 EI fleet for the Feelthere A32X. I was looking at the AirSimmer A320, but it looks like there are way too many problems with that aircraft at the moment.

After reading this, I did go and get the Vistaliners version, too. Screenies to follow

Well it was quite a bit of work installing the model, panel & gauges, sound pack etc...but it was worth it! Especially the sound package - those Rollers sound AWESOME. Anyway, for a bit of a challenge I decided to try and fly the Tristar out of Aspen, CO and head over to Bozeman MT.

Here's the panel I installed:

From there you can pay a virtual visit to me at my virtual homebase Zurich (www.freez.aero)

And finally EDI.

Might break that up into ZRH-FRA-AMS-LHR-DUB-EDI very short hops I know but I won't mind doing this for no other reason than I have some great payware scenery for FRA, AMS & LHR. In addition for the DUB stop, not only do I have Eirsims' DUB but I can also visit Ireland's First lady of flight simming.

Hmm, well I downloaded 1 PA A320 LX repaint, and I sort of modified it a bit and created folders for all the registrations, the A319 and A321s are my own work (from scratch)

Sweet, I only want the soundpack from the AirSimmer, as for the model I would just put the air file and config from the PA and fly it, I am not really into too technical simulations.

You should try the old Bacolod (Negros Oriental) Airport scenery, has FSX style traffic on the main road passing the airport. Makes for a really cool approach on Rwy 22 there is also a little surprise on short final.

Planning update for EDICHC's CHC-EDI NZ A320 tour

I know you wanted freeware, but theres a decent payware scenery for Karachi I saw on SimMarket (not sure if its both FS versions...think it's just FS9). Also theres a very nice BKK scenery (just FS9).

I'd also recommend GIB...but again it's payware

Ryanair ArseCam is installed in all our lavatories. Our lavatories cost 1 euro per visit, we won't post videos from ArseCam on YouTube if you pay the 50 euro butt end privacy fee.

About to commence the big trip, though still a few flight plan issues to be resolved, will post updates on a new thread.

Thanks for the kind comments! I should get hold of a recording of that fanfare and stick it on an annoucement panel gauge

However, I may have messed up and gave FR another charge option...sorry guys!

Also, the sky and lighting (plus clouds) are all down to REX for FS9

For that flight I used:
PMDG 737-800W
Eiresim Shannon
Aerosoft's Hahn.

The environment addons I use are:
REX
Ground Environment
Ultimate Terrain USA + Europe
ActiveSky

Also can someone explain something for a very confused me.
I was looking in my scenery library, and I noticed directly after where the installer put UT USA...an entry for UT Alaska/Canada was in there. I haven't flew to Canada or Alaska since installing UT, so I haven't checked it out just yet.
If it is there, unless it's a freebie with it...then i'll need to contact Flight1 and let them know. I don't want something I haven't paid for obviously.

Great! Bring them on. BCN is pretty much the one airport in Europe that I have always wanted to have an accurate rendition of.

Yes, I just finished a flight I was doing, I will install BCN now and see how it runs on me system, I have been waiting for this scenery since... well it was announced a long time ago.

Nice to have a proper up to date rendition of your home airport

ow I will be routing, TXL-BCN-JFK with IB. Screenies from first leg coming soon!

Yay! BCN-JFK with AA or DL? or CO to EWR on the 757!! I flew on it last year... man... that 75 even with a full load of PAX, cargo and fuel for the TATL crossing, just rocketed off.

Something a little different...we don't get too many screenies of turboprops or rotorcraft - so how about something that has turboprops AND rotors?

First leg of TXL-BCN is completed (sort of). It would appear there is a CTD problem on approaching the 07s (at least within my setup anyway).

I still have some screenies up until this point...but I'll get to enjoy the scenery a bit more when I set off for New York.
Not quite decided whether I want to take a CO 'Rocketship' out to EWR instead of an AA763 into JFK.
I'll close my eyes and choose

Heres a few from the TXL-BCN leg anyhow with IBs A319 EC-KKS Retroship

It was all going so well.....

Perhaps the storm knocked out my FS

Ah well...off to New York later or tomorrow

[email protected] I hate it when that happens, I also had some CTD's whilst using the old Simwings BCN, I will test it tomorrow and hopefully it will be fine.

Just had my computer basically re-built. Optical drive got replaced, and they were unable to save my x-plane 8 CD that was stuck. So they gave my X-plane 9 for free.

Here are my first screenshots! Sadly, my iMac can't run it at NEARLY the highest settings, so I'm somewhere in the middle of the range on all options, with minimum anti-aliasing.

GVA-LAS on AA 777-200.

LAS-MEX on Mexicana A318

Just spoke to the guys at Aerosoft through the support forums. It appears that everyone is having the same CTD issues I was having...so I guess we'll recieve a fix soon enough. It's always around 200-300ft AGL on approach to 07R.
Also you have experience some issues when departing from 07R I found.

Never mind, i'm sure it will be sorted relatively quick

BCN-JFK is no more....instead we will be routing BCN-EWR with a CO 752

Yes, I have also posted on their forums, I tried a short Reus-Barcelona flight, and FS crashed a few minutes after takeoff... then tried Girona-Barcelona... and guess what... yep CTD...

25 euros down the pooper (hope they get a fix soon)

Enjoy BCN-EWR on the rocket pocket!! I will get a card and drive around the airport to check out the details.

It isn't to be!

Status of BCN-EWR: Cancelled

Reason: FS crashed about 30 seconds after loading up at BCN. It would appear there is a major problem with the scenery somewhere. We'll see what happens...and no BCN flights until a fix is found.

Never mind...currently transferring across the ground to LIS. Here i'll pick up LIS-EWR with the pocket rocket instead

Strange, I am going to drive around it now and see if it crashes.

I'll try. However FS crashed at LIS after around 5 minutes setting up the flight on the FMS etc. Not sure what's going on, but I think this routing is a bad omen. I'll probably swap to LHR and fly to ATL with a DL763/777 or something. I'll just have to see what happens.

However, the CTD at LIS I think is an issue with the CS 757. I don't really like it too much anyway...so i'll hold off on the pocket rocket until I get the QW 757.

[Edited 2010-09-18 03:02:59]

Edit: Going to try it once more...this time with the POSKY 752  Smile

Quick update...it would appear something somewhere has really gone to town on my FS.

Trying to locate the problem...

Quick question, is it possible the new BCN scenery could be causing CTD all over my virtual world?

Edit: Decided to do a fresh install of FS9 (again).
This time i'll test it after every add-on that is installed.
