A flight from a few weeks ago. I think FUE was the departing airport and LGW was the destination.

I've added quite a few FS2004 screenshots to my flickr gallery.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/chris_j...phy/albums/72157628145415008/page3

That link starts at page 3 where the most recent screenshots reside. Check out pages 1 & 2 if you haven't already. Enjoy!

....and thanks for posting your great screenshots too! FS is a wonderful thing!

Sure do!

I've also been playing around with flyable liveries, too- I'm not at the point where I'm making them from scratch, but I created this interesting Northwest hybrid from 1994 using an existing MD-80 livery:

I have not been flying much, been stuck down in Tassie for a while. Today I flew the default C208 between Launceston Airport (LST) and Burnie Airport (BWT). Quiet flight, only heard ATC talking to a Jetstar A320 that left LST shortly after me and a Virgin Australia B738 heading down to Hobart. Flew VFR and my nav radio never hit the freq for Burnie Airport, so as I was getting nervous, I flew out to the coast and kept a lookout for the airport and runway 27. My next flight will eventually be to Melbourne in the Saab 340 as REX. But I first have some updates to do to my ai flightplans. Just installed the new FAIB B747-400, cannot wait to see this in the skies, the screenshots looked amazing.

Been a while since my last flight, shots of my recently flown MEL-SYD flight with a QF A332. Some shots of ai thrown in as well.

Nice pics and that QF A330 looks just beautiful. A pity about those ground textures at ORBX MEL though, especially when it's one of the only big and popular airports they've made.

Thanks. They have also released BNE, which I have but not have flown to yet. That might be my next flight. They also have released Coffs Harbour, which I bought too, but then realized that the airport ICAO is the older one, so I have no AI traffic there. I need to update that as well.

Last weekend it was hot, like near the 40s hot, in Sydney and I opted to stay indoors as much as I could and upgraded my laptop to Windows 10. Tonight I fired up FSX for a flight once I set my nvidia inspector settings again, and flew Sydney to Lord Howe Island as a Qantaslink Dash 8-200.

The QF B744 that is parked in the remote stand pushed back into the jet blast fence behind it. Must be a limitation to FSX and how the planes are parked.

Heading out into the open waters and leaving Sydney behind. I love going to the strip of land in the right, an area called The Gap, where the harbour opens up to the ocean. Some great views there.

And onto some random AI shots.

I use neither WOAI or UT2, those are flightplans released by AIG and the models are from developers like FAIB (A320, B737, B747) and The Fruit Stand (A380, A333, A332, DH8D).

My traffic is set to 100% and I have my rates locked at 30 and at SYD it sometimes drops into the upper teens but it really is not that noticable to me.

Ah ok. Isn't it time consuming to download and apply repaints to each aircraft though? I have done that for a few AIG flight plans (TCX, HA) and it exhausted me

I'm running a mix of UT2 (which has gone downhill since the developers "ran off") WOAI, and AIG. I've set traffic to 50% and I'm able to get my locked 30 fps, but I might try going higher...

It really isn't that bad. But I am used to it. I wrote a few AIG plans ages ago so I am used to the process. Plus once you get the models and paints installed, installing new plans only takes a few clicks using AIFP. Also I only have AI installed that flys in and out of Australia as that is the only place I fly. But I will soon be crossing over to New Zealand. I bought the Orbx/FTX New Zealand North Island scenery upgrade and will be making the Tasman crossings soon.

Ughhh the downloading and installing repaints is painful. The planning in AIFP is now super easy. Love that app.

Excellent pics! Do you have Thai Creations VABB installed? If so how is it?

I think it's great. Finally a scenery for Mumbai. That has been missing in my collection for the better part of a decade. Now I have Delhi and Mumbai!

Last night I took one of the FSX default Cessnas up for a short flight between BNE-OOL. I think the taxi time from the general aviation/cargo ramp at BNE to the active (runway 19) and my hold time for other departing and arriving traffic was longer than the flight to OOL. My usual method with screenshots, some of my ground activity at BNE and then shots of random AI controlled aircraft and then ground activity at OOL.

DL 2188 ATL-SEA equipment swap from 739ER to MD90 at departure gate C52. DL 80 to BRU is taxiing to runway 26L. Scenery is the new Imaginesim ATL 2016 scenery, which I will say is impressive and even with a positive performance gain from the ATL 2012 scenery. The I-285 tunnel underneath 10/28 is even modelled.
