Hi All,
We are looking at doing some test screening very soon to get some more content into the database so we are asking any photographers who want to assist us by offering their shots for screening.
Unfortunately we can not screen images uploaded before the launch of the new website yet so we can only screen images at this stage uploaded after the release date.
We will require Photographer name, Registration and need to make sure the photo was uploaded after the 14th of June and has been watermarked as there will be no copyright bar displaying under the photo but it will be added at a later date when more upgrades are done in coming days.
If you are willing to help please post in this thread the details and we will have a look.

Can not locate it in queue Vik,3 others for G-XLEJ but not your shot?
Any others you uploaded in last couple days with watermark we can check for?

Important!
Guys before you volunteer your images please consider these issues:
What we photo screeners see on the screening page is good. Better than the legacy site was. No compression and no resizing at all.
What bothers me is that photos added are at this stage are not displayed properly in some cases. They are still blown up and look awful on some (most) of the pages.
Photographers must understand that our screening is fair, we are screening looking at the exact same file they submitted, but their images might appear soft and blown up on the site after we add them.
Another issue is that adding the watermark comes with some degradation of image quality. I haven't had the chance to thoroughly test how bad it is but if we make watermarks compulsory we need to accept the side effects.
It's also important for the photographers who volunteer their images to understand that at this stage there is no copyright banner and we cannot be held responsible if their images they volunteered get used elsewhere.

Hi Vik, I had the same problem. But if you go to another screen and return you will see that the photo is uploaded.

No, not the same issue, I think.
I uploaded it last night. It was apparently accepted overnight. But it still shows up as "Processing Image".
In my Photo Corner, it says I now have 906 photos accepted. But if you search my photographer name, it only shows 905.
So.....

I've not put my shot for screening test but it was screened... accepted and it shows up on the site the only problem is that no one can click on it, it redirects to a 404 page, already found the error.
Any overview shot will have the same problem as mine.

Hmmm, well it seems to have appeared now, watermark included. No idea why it took most of a day, though!

The image quality issues on the screening page the team is using have been fixed and we are able to resume screening (slowly).
The images the screening team see on the screening page are identical to the ones you photographers submitted, this is better than what the legacy site offered, we used to screened compressed photos.
At this moment the number of images screened will be kept to minimum. The photos added at this stage are still not displayed properly on the Photo Detail page. This is a display issue and will be fixed next week we were told. Do not worry the files added are of good quality and not affected by any severe compression/resizing issues they only look bad on the Photo Detail pages due to website design.
We no longer need test images but once again your help and patience is appreciated.
