Always amazes me that helicopter pilots are not afraid of the updrafts and downdrafts that you are likely finding by waterfalls. Seems dangerous to me but I see tourist pilots throwing it right out there.

The ones with the helicopter swooping right in front of the falls are crazy. You have to imagine some strange wind conditions in that spot.

Great historical photos - it would be excellent to know the story of how these elderly strategic bombers managed to end up together in the USA.

The Russian planes are on base as part of an exchange program proposed by Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Merrill A. McPeak.
