Hi,
I'll be travelling to the US during the second half of this month from ZRH via FRA/MUC.
My final destination is RAP, with a layover outbound at ORD (in the afternoon until evening) and inbound at DEN (also afternoon).
In ORD and DEN I plan to remain airside, and was now wondering about spotting possibilities there. From DEN's web page I got the impression that they are spotter-friendly, but I am not sure about ORD.
Any suggestions, recommendations, NOGOs about these three locations?

At ORD, are you more interested in heavies (which will be predominantly European at that time of day) or US domestic stuff you don't see as much at home?

You might already be aware of this, but Ellsworth AFB just outside RAP does airside tours including into a missile silo. Some static airplanes on display also.

Thanks. The SD Air and Space Museum is already on my todo-list. However, as of the beginning of this year, the AFB tours are offered only to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, as they wrote me in a otherwise very kind eMail...
