MIA holes to disappear.....eventually

Fri May 17, 2019 3:22 am

MIA has unveiled it's long term capital improvement plan. Among many improvements, this will eventually extend a taxiway that will eliminate the famous holes. But this is a long way off.....probably

Just a heads up! :(

Enjoy the many pics from the holes:

I love to plane spot at MIA but I wish the Airport would build a nice place to watch planes.

The good news is that the holes were recently damaged, and subsequently closed. There was a lot of outrage and the airport admin office reopened the holes.

Everyone owes Bruce Drum (former KMIA director now runs worldairlinenews.com) for getting the holes set-up way back when.

Thanks Bruce :airplane: :camera:

That's great news! It is encouraging to hear there was an outrage (with subsequent follow up action) when planespotting was tampered with.

HMMM...appears the blueish building across from the holes, is being torn down. I saw the pics. Holes are open, but good luck with parking.
