Heathrow Academy Observation Deck?

Sat Feb 08, 2020 1:43 pm

I noticed Heathrow has got an observation deck at their Heathrow Academy building, just off the northern perimeter road. I normally commute past there every day to work and thought it would be worth trying.

However, I have never found anything on the internet of anyone else trying it, can't see any videos or pictures? Does this thing really exist? I don't want to end up going there, paying for parking and told it doesn't lol.

It's just a small, slightly raised covered hump by the zebra crossing from the car parks (charges apply) to the academy building.
Probably one for general viewing rather than photography. Road, Car Park, fence and trees between you and the action.

Thanks, I did actually drive past it after posting this and saw that stand and realised it was probably that. It is a bit lame as I was hoping it would be more elevated.

Will be good enough for me I guess, I'm not a photographer, just someone who is facinated.

I wonder if you are allowed to walk down the norther permiter road or is that just asking to get stopped - would certainly provide better views and sound!

I don't see why not, why else would there be a footway> You may get asked what you're up to if you loiter but it is public.
