Hi,

I'm currently trying to plan a trip to Japan to see the JASDF F15 Aggressor's (Hiko Kyodotai), But i'm finding it very hard to find solid information as to where is best to go. I understand that the squadron moved to Komatsu Air Base from Nyutabaru Air Base in 2016, But have all airframes moved? Are some still based at Nyutabaru? Which location is best to go to see the aircraft?

Any information would be gratefully received

Bit a late reaction from my side, but they are all based at Komatsu. You can get them there from the civil terminal panorama deck on the
opposite of the military part, but you have back light until 1500LT. Or choose a cloudy day like I did in 2019. This is all 400mm full frame
taken with Nikon D600 + 200-400mm f4. Hope this helps you. During sunny days you can also stay in the landing with light in the back.
