Sean - The rejection email should have a message that was left by the screener who rejected your photo. "Short final for 33L" was your caption.

You can always appeal, the Head Screeners might be able to provide some clarity.

Good luck

This is the message. Just trying to understand how to get better. I'm guessing they didn't like the left wing being cropped. The personal message had me scratching my head

Here's why your photo was rejected:

- Motive
- Personal Message

The Screener left a comment regarding this photo:
"Motive rejection for unbalanced… unmotivated crop."

I've never been a fan of this type of crop but there are many examples in the database; I can only assume that you need to crop in more on the left side or less on the right.

I'd appeal, nothing wrong with this crop in theory. If this was mine I would center the fuselage top/bottom and left/right but this should be fine for here.

The image is seems very low in frame to me, if you bump it up in frame it should be ok, I'm also seeing a slight magenta colour cast as well.

Agreed. Crop is fine, it's a bit low but nothing terrible.
I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".
