Hello, dear colleagues.
I wanted to fly to LHR from the 8th to the 11th of October, they will be full spotting...
From what I've read on the forum, it doesn't seem like a bad month to visit, knowing that London and its climate, you never know.
I plan to stay at the Thistle hotel, to "guarantee" that I can use their terrace.
I have seen the movement of the sun for those days, and I would appreciate your comments to take advantage of the most appropriate points. Like, for example, from the terrace of the Thistle, I'm not sure if I'll have moments with the light behind me.

The weather in October can be very hit or miss.
Any locations on the north side are unlikely to be very useful in October as the sun will be in the south all day long.
