Settings for overcast skies?
Other than setting the white balance to overcast/cloudy, what settings do you use to shoot an airshow when the sky is overcast? Meter mode? Exposure compensation?

Manual exposure settings, I prefer to not let the camera do its own thing in those situations.
You can take test photos of less important or boring planes to work out the right settings. Remember to adjust the settings as time goes by.
