Kodak CDs Over Scanning

Would it be easier to get a Kodak CD when you have your film printed? Do people do this to put them on the computer? Thanks!

I recently had a few negatives scanned at the developers and although the quality of the scans seemed good, all angled and curved edges looked rough for some reason. You can see my "Will this photo get accepted '' topic lower down to judge for yourself.

Ive been using the Cds for all my photos on Airliners.net until now. Reason is that its cheaper and quicker to scan them yourself but you can look at my photos to see how they look on the Kodak CD.

I have recently got some of my photos back on CD. I thought that after I touched them up they looked ok, but Johan didnt! Back to the HP Scanjet 3400 for me!
