Where Can You Go In An Airport Now?

Wed Feb 06, 2002 10:46 am

I was just wondering if I would be able to go into the terminal area of Terminal C of EWR without a ticket to pick up someone? I have not been in EWR since 9/11 and I am not sure how stirct they are. If they allow you in, could you just bring in a camera to take picture thorugh the glass?I am clueless on this subject!  Sad

Haven't been there since 9/11, but my guess would be no. I don't think they allow gate access to anyone without a ticket at any airport anymore.

If you find otherwise, let me know and I'll be down the next weekend.

I believe this is an FAA mandate: nobody past the security checkpoint without:

a. employee airside ID, or
b. ticket/electronic ticket/boarding card

I'm prepared to be corrected, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.
