Well you won't be seeing them there anymore, Westpac is gone. Used to get Reno MD80's (gone too!). They get RJ's, MD80s, 727's etc (from the photos I've seen).

At the moment, Colorado Springs (COS) gets mostly Canadair Regional Jets.

They get the CRJs from America West Express, Delta Connection-SkyWest, and starting this Tuesday they will be getting them from United Express-Skywest.

Other than that, COS gets a United A320 from Chicago (ORD), United 737-300s from Denver (DEN) DEN and Chicago (ORD), Delta 727-200s from Atlanta (ATL) and Cincinnati (CVG), Mesa Air B1900Ds from ABQ, Northwest A319s from MSP, American MD-80s from STL, DFW, and LAX, Continental 737s and ERJ-145s from IAH, Great Plains Air DO328JETs, and Vanguard 737-200s from MCI.

COS has a pretty good variety of aircraft to shoot. But, nothing too exciting. The days of UAL flying in heavies are long gone, unfortunately. The problem with COS is, there are virtually no outside photo spots. The best location is inside the terminal before you reach the security checkpoint. There is also one spot outside in front of the terminal (valet parking curb) that offers decent views of the ramp. Otherwise, outside spots are non-existant. Most of the old Westpac photos were either taken from inside the satellite terminal or are from ramp tours that airport management would give to groups who were specifically there to shoot the Westpac fleet.

The most exciting thing you would probably catch there now is perhaps a jellybean green Vanguard 737. Otherwise, it is an RJ heaven, along with the usual MD-80s, 727s, and A319/A320s.
