I Thought This Had Good Chance, Guess I Was Wrong

Tue Mar 19, 2002 4:22 pm

My only thought is maybe it needs to be a bit sharper? apart from that I dont know why it was rejected

Closeups have few chances these days, whether with or without winglets...
This one wasn't accepted either:

Hi Ben

Nice clear and sharp picture.

Might have had a better chance if it was composed slightly different. I mean keeping the winglet away from the tailfin.

Your shots are getting better and I remember not so long ago you were out No.1 moaner Big grin

I know a good shot when I see it Big grin

Nice shot Ben!

Blue sky and you've got a sure addition there.  Big thumbs up

Nasty overcast white cloudy sky...well, you know the result.  Sad

Cheers,
Dean

PS - I'm looking forward to seeing more of your PMI stuff.

I agree with Dean, with blue sky, this pic would have had better chances.

Gary I have mellowed out now that i am an adult! I couldnt compost the picture any differently.

Dean Dean, do u know the stands that can be just seen from outside the front of the PMI terminal? on the left as u walk out, near the exec apron? it was from there and its VERY hard to get anything from there, hense the close up

I know about the blue sky thing and I agree 110% but it was the day I flew back and I guess I took the good old english weather with me Big grin

Thought the same as LGW, learnt the same as LGW:
low quality rejections:

On the next one I focused on the plane in the background.

The next ones where very blurry??? I have seen blurrier scans.

Esthetics on the next one

Next was too far in the distance? Of course I wanted to show the crosswind after takeoff.

Next two: Part of aircraft missing. I know thats the sense of nose shots isnt it.

Next two both not leveled?

I agree it is blurry but not unsharp (or is it). But I thought the lights and the wet runway might add a good atmosphere to the shot.

In my book unsharp is sharper than blurry, so then it's unsharp allright.  Wink/being sarcastic
