I'm contemplating purchasing a Minolta Dimage 7i, a SLR-Type 5 Megapixel camera with a 28 - 200 zoom
The move from my EOS Canon cameras to digital is for convenience as Perth is not the recipient of a large number of aircraft and I have to wait several weeks before completing a film.
My first choice would be the Canon 10D released here this week. However I have non
USM), Thailand">
USM Canon and Tokina lenses and the
EF lens while giving good results from a photo acceptance point of view may not perform as well with the 10D body. Also my understanding is that the 1.6 factor will assist the 300 and 400 lenses but will negate the advantage of my 28mm lens
I would appreciate advice and comments from anyone who has photos on airliners.net taken with the Minolta or a camera with similar specifications in the price range
The Minolta sells for $2100 Australian and the Canon10D for $3400.
