Hi Guys

Quite surprised to see this thread, thanks for starting Royal!

I hadn't noticed that I had passed the million views mark  Wink/being sarcastic
Who would think that a humble little regional airport like Aberdeen would generate so much interest within the aviation community.

Who said the D30 was sh***  Wink/being sarcastic

Ben, might make it down to LHR this year. I still have not used the D30 there yet and I am itching to get down. Will wait till BMI start the route in March..........but there may be a few other destinations to get to first  Wink/being sarcastic

Thanks all

Gary

1,000,000 views? About time too, I say! What have you been mucking about at taking all this time??? Shame you cut the tail off that KLM 737 too! Big grin

Seriously, great stuff and a nice milestone... Everyone tells me the second million comes much more quickly.

Hey Gary

Your stuff are pin-sharp, even in good weather in Scotland!!! How did you do it?  Smile

Sorry the other night in a club in AMS it took me 20 mins to understand what a Scottish fellow said to me, it was bit horrible....I thought they were speaking something else than English...:o

May see you one day around! Cheers,

Sam

Sam

Don't you know?

While he was speaking for 20min he was robbing you! Check Your Wallet. All your good Lenses have also been replaced with standard variants.

Seriously when I get pi$$ed and try to talk to my Danish mates they just smile. We then move to international hand signals about women which does the trick and we get back on the same frequency.

Awesome work Gary!

Reaching 1 million must be quite a feeling.
How on Earth did Aberdeen become such a popular airport?
Maybe it was because of the uber crazy crosswinds Dyce is known for..  Smile

Aberdeen has a suprisingly high number of movements due to a 3 letter word and the prosperity it has brought the area.

Hey,

Congratulations Gary for entering the 1000/1000 club.

Gary is probably the best photographer I have met up to now, and certainly a very knowledgeable person. The output he has with the D30 is simply amazing which makes one wonder what he would produce with a 10D.

Keep up the amazing work Gary!

Cheers,
Tim

Yes, congratulations indeed, and I also have Gary to thank? blame? for sending me down that oh so seductive but expensive digital route! Perhaps that's why he's not showing his face down south?

Cheers,

Hi guys

Thanks Rez and Chris.

Yes, I was the one who made Colin drool over one of my Singapore rotation 747 D30 shots......I think he was impressed the way it came out of the camera......and that was with a cheapo Sigma lens.

Regards

Gary

Gary has always been one of my favorites. His recent batch of shots just keep enforcing that. I saw the following new pic of his and stared at it for a bit. Amazing.

A while back, Gary sent me some prints of his, and they were great. Then he told me that if I told him, he could have sent me the AA777 shot instead! I almost cried having missed it!

I have several of his prints framed and displayed in my apartment as we speak. An honor to have them.

Great work as always, Gary!
