Gee, I'm humbled. For someone who hasn't travelled extensively beyond my home country I'm proud that people have taken such a liking to what we have to offer here "downunder". I upload here because I love taking photos of planes, helicopters, ultralights, gliders and indeed anything else that will fly. I pride myself on the diversity of my work and plan to continue that well beyond where it's currently at.
Having seen this website grow, expand and become more selective I can only agree when people comment that this website is the "premiere aviation photography based website". Some may think the standards are high - I've always said, if I can get shots on here anyone can!! I'm proud of my association with airliners.net, while we all may not get on all of the time it's a fun place to be and a great place to show of one's work.
I would like to thank everyone above for their contributions to this post - alot of you are all far more adept at this hobby than I could ever be and your comments are appreciated. Oh, and Ejazz, could you have picked a more poorly centred shot to show off buddy
. I really should buy the skipper of that flight a beer sometime, fancy taking a 773 off 25!!!! WILD!!
Plenty more to come too, so watch this space! The most rewarding thing for me is travelling beyond the cities and finding airstrips that might only have a single aircraft tied up and doing nothing.
I'll leave you with my first, and latest......
