Rejection Opinions

Fri Oct 08, 2004 11:11 pm

Greetings everyone.

Unsurprisingly my first submission was rejected. While it is not the finest photo I have ever taken I thought it was interesting but was rejected for low esthetic qualities. I would appreciate any input even if it is agreement with the screeners that the picture has no aviation interest.

I am new to aviation photography and digital manipulation.

Here is the photo:

I could only find one other similar picture in the database and I am not trying to compare the two. I guess it is up to the screener and what they like.

Once again, I am open to any and all constructive criticism.

There not enough a/c in your shot.

Hi Michael..

Don't forget this is an aircraft database..the main subject should be the airplane, not a baseball stadium. Anyhow I'm pleased to see baseball relationed matters...

All the best

yeh i agree, if there was a wing in the shot then it might be able to get on, but without it probably not.

Cheers and good luck in the future

Thanks for the input gentlemen.

You are right, I need to remember that the aircraft comes first.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I have a couple more in the queue. Perhaps I'll have better luck with those.

These pics were taken without thinking of posting them here. I was just having fun with my new camera.

Great shot Michael...I love seeing those wingviews, it reminds me of my many flights in my life, from 737s, to KC-135s to 777s, etc. That photo looks great! Keep it up dude!
