If that email was sent to me I would probably respond with something like:

"Thank you. I am glad that you enjoy my photos, however taking photos does not make me an expert in advising you on leasing aircraft. I would suggest that you seek the services of a professional consultant before making such a decision (sorry I don't know any airline consultants)

Good luck in your endeavors"

Anyway, interesting email. Thanks for sharing it with us  Smile

That is good news Kas, you're moving over to the serious business.

Now we do have a Tristar waiting for him at Amsterdam.

It needs a few minor repairs and please ask him to make a low-pass flyby once it is airworthy.

Kind regards,
Erwin

I was once asked a similar question: A quotation for the lease price of a DC-10...   Since when do I have a leasing company?
And someone else asked me for a breakdown of the operating costs for 747-300's, sent via my shot of a Qantas 747-300... Some strange (airheaded) individuals out there...

Eduard

BTW, I didn't reply to these emails. I'm not going to let these weirdos have my email address.

I was recently asked if I was the UK agent for Koliber aircraft. I'm not, but I did offer a part built radio controlled glider that has been gathering dust in the loft for the last 10 years  Smile

Yeah, it might be best not to, but I did anyway. We'll see what happens. Worst case scenario is that I have to make a new hotmail adress..  Smile

At A.net VA we once got an email where some guy tried to sell us some 747-200 (ex-Cathay metal)... I collected quite some dust rolling on the floor when seeing this... It would have cost about 4M $ per plane, so we decided not to buy them because we could only get together about 100$.... Wink

Your Tristar story just reminded me of that one... Smile

Why wasn't that E-mail forwarded to me! :O Or was I already on my 5 months leave when that happened?

Anyways, we could always take a loan and divide it by the 100 people that are a member now  Wink

I have quite a few aircraft that I will lease provided the airline is happy with a plastic model.

Heey AirKas,

How are you doing? It's been a long time seeing a thread/post from you. Nice you are still very much active here. Nice e-mail you got there too. I've also received a few questions which were a bit vague. I also don't always reply to all these e-mails. But, yes, it sometimes is nice and funny you get such e-mails.

Groeten,
