Quote: NEW YORK, NY, July 19, 2006 – SanDisk® Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK) today introduced the new SanDisk Extreme® IV line of CompactFlash® digital film cards for professional photographers. The line is targeted at photographers who require the highest possible performance and the largest capacities for their medium format and high-end digital single lens reflex (SLR) cameras. SanDisk Press Release
These cards will be available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB flavors. The prices are 160, 320, and 640 USD, respectively. I don't think that's a bad deal when you consider how good, fast, and spacious these cards are. They can survive "extreme environmental conditions" at temperatures ranging from -13F to 185F. It's probably safe to assume that these will outlast even the finest cameras.
