Soft Rejection Help

Sat Oct 28, 2006 5:54 am

Got another rejection today, this time for soft. Can anyone lend me their eyes for a second to spot the softness?

Hi Damon,

It's quite soft overall I think. Little detail of the construction of the aircraft is visible.
The paint line behind and below the rear door looks jagged though on my screen.
Hope that helps

Peter

Oh and it's rather high in the frame for me

Am I the only one who sees jaggies on the engines and nose gear door?

Damon,

Looks OK to me... when you sharpen too much - things tend to look kind of unreal - but that seems to be the trend here - they want REAL SHARP images...

I like it, it looks fine to me. That is a difficult shot to get to as I think I know where you were taking it from.

The only thing I would change is the centering. It seems a bit too high in the frame.
