Hi Eric.

I certainly don't think that backlighting will automatically lead to a rejection here. But I would argue that it will have to be seen to add to the overall effectiveness of an image, for it to get through.

I think in this case that might be somewhat optimistic, though it is certainly a nice shot. The lighting may cause some screeners to worry about the area underneath the belly, around the gear, for example. Before even worrying about that though, I would remove those dirt spots from the sky, just above the rear of the 'hump'. I also see another one almost directly above the top of the tail, off to the right, and another at a level half way down the tail, above the middle of the fuselage. But even cleaned up I think you would need to cross your fingers.

All the best.

Paul

I like it, but before it would be thought about being accepted the above faults needs rectifying.

Too add further fuel to the fire, its way too overdone. Over sharpened to start with. And because it is backlit, its showing a blue cast to me. Yes it could be the sky reflection, but it may cause additional problems.

Still a halo around the tail. Are you using the shadow/highlight tool in CS2?

Backlight doesn't help here. Because of that, some parts are overexposed. I'd keep that one for yourself. I don't think its a winner in my eyes.

Just curious as to why most people assume someone is using PS CS2.
