I mean come on! This one needs at least 180 degrees CW rotation. Talk about inconsistency.

If your camera sends text messages, that could explain why your photos are rubbish!....well that might have changed!!!

Should never happen as all tools are accounted for before the jet gets released SFF. What can't be inventoried is what gets carried in by the crew. Believe me, if something gets dropped (food, gloves, sunglasses, iPod, etc.) that is the easiest way to get it back, sometime a little -G will do the trick as well, but that sometimes has unpleasant consequences.  Smile

Looks like the aircraft was unable to retract the landing gear the normal way. Therefore the pilot has to fly inverted for gravity-assisted landing gear retraction.

This is no joking matter. Jammed controls because of a tool where it shouldn't be have caused aircraft losses and fatalities.

Absolutely, the Sabre pilot my father witnessed jumping to the ground and storming very red faced towards the hangar did not see the humour in it either!

You think? I don't speak for the screening team but I can almost guarantee the first photo uploaded of a 747 doing an extended gear, inverted fly by will not only get on but would not have an issue with priority screening.
