Is This One Allowed On Airliners.net

Fri Feb 16, 2007 4:45 am

Hello,

is a picture like this allowed on Airliners.net?

https://www.airliners.net/uf/view.fil...8993&filename=1171494489zWDmVa.jpg

The reason for my question is the fact, that the first officer is visible (side view).

Thanks for your help!

Greetings
Carlos

Yes, I personally don't seem to have a problem with the image.

I was unsure because the first officer is visible. Just to avoid a rejection.

Thanks a lot for your help!

I believe the rule is that as long as the photographer was not leading the pilot/FO into waving at the camera, it's OK for them to be in the frame.

The Personnel rule doesn't count against pilots, but only ramp workers and such, right?

Doubt that. Why save a ramp worker and make a captain/cabin crew a photo-model? In this case I would say the 1st Officer isn't recognisable easily.

I have a similar shot that got passed recently. So I think it should be okay for Carlos' image.

You make a good point, I'm just trying to recall a recent thread that came up on this subject. Perhaps searching would enlighten my faulty memory.
