Oh my gosh, you're killing me. I'm starving. I love that place. It's right next to the airport. You can't miss it. Near the rental car places on your way to Marina Del Rey. If you go, get a double double for me - animal style!

What's funny is I used to see all these people standing out there taking photos and I'd think, WHO ARE these people, and I'd wonder if there was some "funny business" going on, because you are awfully close to the airplanes. Now I think I have an idea who THOSE PEOPLE are. I'll be looking for you while I'm sitting in the mommy mobile in the parking lot wearing the ugly blue uniform after a long day at work while scarfing down the burger. HA!

Hmmm, had a 3 by 3 last night, protein style here in IFP.

If I am remember right it's strictly a summer spot tho no? This time of year I don't think the sun gets far enough. Or of you are just into regis enjoy. It is a great spot for planes and the best burgers.

You can shoot from the general area, but you have to shoot from the south side of the aircraft.

Ah In-N-Out. Was there in October. At that time it was terrible for photos, as they were always backlit. Awesome food though, and nice eating a burger with a 747 roaring overhead

Hey now..

The LAX In N' Out burger is good but we have a McDonalds that is almost as close to low flying A/C here at LAS.

We get a lot more bizjet and 737/320 action and only the one 747, a handful of 76s and 330s and a 340 but it's still way fun. Most people do not think about spotting from there..

And if burgers are not your thing there is a Taco bell and Sunset pizzeria!!

Plus it works well when it's a 105 degrees ..no heat haze shooting up!! LOL

checkmark  All year shooting from the south is the best bet, expect for late evening shots, when the sun can be barely in the right spot for some nice shots from the north side.

But if you are there for regs, pretty much wherever will work.

Many other spots:

"IN-N-OUT" Is only really good in the late afternoon during the summer and late evening in the winter (sunset shots). During the winter months it is better to shoot from the "C" parking lot across the street during the day.
