Hi again all,
I had this one rejected for colour. I think it's because of the red glow on the Falcon's fuselage, although I'm not sure.
When I try to correct this by just adding cyan, the apron turns green.
However, Auto Color seems to do a much better job than I:
Do you think this is
OK?
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,
very nice picture, IMO it could be a bit sharper though. I'm also worried about the lens reflections, might get motive as well.
Cheers,
Florian

Thanks Florian, I think you're right. But do the colours feel
OK now?

Sharpened upload, would still love to hear about the colours though.

The above edit was rejected:
https://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...tions/big/20080214_PH-APV-3ptr.jpg
with a friendly note saying the colour is still not right, this time along with oversharpened, too much contrast and quality (due to bad editing I presume) reasons.
I've made a fresh edit using different colour curves, and now managed to get the white pretty white and the black pretty black. I really hope this solves this problem, not only to finally get this picture in but because I'll have learnt something new. Any opinions?
Peter

Hello Peter,
this version has a green color-cast on it, sharpening looks allright to me though.
I'd be interested in what the original picture looks like color-wise, can you post the original picture? If you want I'll also have a look at it in
PS.
Cheers,
Florian

Peter,
if it's a RAW file I'd be happy to try my hand on editing it.

Green..? Is it bad?
Thanks for taking an interest, guys. Here is the original, it's not a RAW unfortunately, Jurgen, I'm not sure why not:

Ruud Brinks has done this edit for me, which I think looks very good. Thanks!

Ruud comments that the original is too blue at the top and too red at the bottom, though. I should really go RAW.

Hi Peter,
Looks much better in terms of colour and contrast. However, it looks rather soft now (I know, those lines will go over sharp right away...), so I think you'll need to do some selective sharpening.
Hope it helps and we get that one finally in (would it be the fourth time?)!

Thanks for the inpunt, Andres. I've done so.

Yes, not counting the ones I pulled

Tried editing with layers on this one?
Have a layer underneath, just to get the aircraft colour right, then erase the aircraft on the top layer to reveal the aircraft underneath, but not erasing out the rest.
That's how I'd do it. If you want me to have a go, let me know!

Yes I tried that, Martin, but the colour problems were too much for me.
Thanks very much for your offer, but Ruud has done the trick.
