Hello everyone! Big grin I was wondering if you could help me pre-screen this photos that I have on queue. What do you think?

I also wanted to ask a few questions. The links on the bottom are photos that got rejected for dark and contrast. I know how to correct the dark part but I'm not very familiarized with the correction of contrast. What is wrong with the contrast?

I hope you can help me.

Thanks!

All four of your pictures have far too much contrast. Otherwise, I think they are quite good, although I cannot comment on sharpness because I'm using a different computer screen for the next week or so. Just reduce the sharpness and I think you should be fine with those images.

I am not sure, but it also looks like you used the Shadow/Highlight tool to correct for lost detail in the exposure of your image. If so, try to use this tool as little as possible (ideally, not at all).

Hope this helps.

These new ones look much better. Again, I can't comment on sharpness because of the screen I'm using this week, but the only change I would recommend would be put the Alaska plane a tiny bit lower in the frame, and to add a very small bit of space to the right, just to improve the centering.

JAL - windows look soft

Alaska - dark (backlit) - under belly looks too dark

Thanks for your help. I'll try to correct the soft problem with the JAL one and maybe try to correct the dark part of the Alaska one and post the results.

So now contrast and everything else excluding what you already told me looks fine? Big grin Do you think I can give them a try?

They look too high in the frame as TIS said.
