Rejection--again

Hey guys, I'm having a hard time swallowing this one, rejected for Quality grainy. Maybe I need to upgrade my eyes. Any comments appreciated. Oh, and I realize the airplane is 'common', but the tail number wasn't in the database when I uploaded.

Nice photograph, but it is indeed very grainy. Did you use a high ISO?

Very grainy. Wow. Okay, it's very grainy if you say so, but it's grainy at 200 ISO on a
D3. I only wish I could see it, and thanks for the replies.

Problem might can be solved if you'll use NeatImage program to reduce the noise. But you have start to work with your image from the beginning then.

The photo is from a
D3? You have to be joking. Looks to me like something wrong with post-processing.

Thanks for all the comments--I need to sharpen my eyes ans well as procedures. There's no excuse for grain on that picture. Jid has a step for edge sharpening in his sample workflow and I need to give that a try. I
CAN produce acceptable images, I know I can, but nobody said it would be easy.......
