Hi,

is this motive acceptable? It's just a quick edit on my notebook, so the sharpness and contrast might need some adjustments.

Very similar to one of mine that got accepted a while back. Give it a try!

Alright my turn. I am not sure how this edit turned out because it was edited on a different monitor. Crap conditions, but a somewhat significant flight so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The both seem pretty good, but the second one just doesn't do anything for me. I much prefer the angle of the first one, and the reflections on the windows.

I would also be interested to know what the round objects (holes?) are in the top right section of the Jet Blue tail. Lightning strike?

Hi John,
the CSA looks OK to me, the Egypt Air is a bit low in the frame (at least for my taste) and it could be a bit sharper.

Quoting JGR (Reply 69):
What about this shots (creative shots ?)

Hello Javier,
I really like your sunset takeoff picture, however I think that the KLM-windows have no chance.

Hey Flo  Wink
very nice pic, however I have to agree with Stefan, the blue lines are a bit jaggy... Should be no problem to fix that!

Quoting JakTrax (Reply 72):

Karl,
on my monitor it is a bit soft and I'd add a little less contrast, the blue sky looks very aggressive.

OK guys, difference of opinions. I've blurred the sky a bit to hide any grain. Also I've added more USM and have toned down the sky (I liked it like that but A.net may see it as a bit 'artificial') - how's it look now?

There seems to be some glare from the silver fuselage - catching such an aircraft at the wrong moment in such light can have that effect.

Thank you guys, the conditions were very difficult indeed. This photo was taken at SJO almost at dusk with some fog. I had to use 800 iso on my D300. I did not use shadow/highlight at all,
but that the effect from using autolevel . The plane was in the distance and had to do some
cropping. Here is the original .

Thanks

I love it but it has a slight green cast, and I would try to include the entire right stabilizer.

Mario, here is my edit of your shot. I did the best I could but the lighting isn't very good, and the condensation over the wing isn't dense enough to give the right effect. The plane is hidden. I got rid of some grain but couldn't do much more without damaging the photo. I'm afraid this one can't be saved.
