KLM Fokker still needs quite abit of CCW rotation,Everything seems to be leaning to the right.
Also looks abit fuzzy/soft in parts,Also motive aswell as it seems to chopped part of the tail wing off on right side.

Cheers Mark.

CS-TTO - the contrast looks better, but it is soft and it won't make it.

The KLM is as Aussie18 says - needs CCW but I think it is too soft to make it.

What camera/lens and camera settings are you suing (shutter, aperture, iso)?

Also CS-TTO picture has these parameters: F6.4 1/640 at 100 ISO
and KLM: F4.8 1/800 at 100 ISO.

what means "too soft" ?(I'm not english but french)

thx

Quoting Flo1981 (Reply 6):

It needs a little more sharpening as it doesn't look sharp enough.

Quoting Flo1981 (Reply 6):
F4.8

I'd try to use something between F8 and 11.

Too soft is as wilco737 indicates, parts of the photo are not sharp enough. The aperture you are using gives less depth of field (i.e. the front to back distance in the photo that is in focus) than f8 or f11, so that could be why the nose is soft and other parts if the aircraft are sharper.

As suggested, use f8 to f11 and this will help keep entire aircraft sharp.

Just one observation from the image data - it looks like you are using either the "P" or "Auto" setting on a Nikon D80.

Try shooting in "M" or the "A" mode, so you can lock the aperture to the sizes suggested above. This can be tricky and may take some practice to get right. In the P or Auto settings, the camera tries to do the best it can, and with a moving subject, it doesn't always deliver the best result.

Your are right, Eddiek, I used the auto function of my D80.
But in the future I will use Aperture Priority I think
So, what do you think for my pic?
thanks a lot
