Fri Jun 26, 2009 11:37 pm

I haven't tried to submit any pictures lately, so I will try to get back in the habit. Here is a try:

Any comments are appreciated.

Looking Good! There may be a few jaggies around the nosecone, but that might just be my monitor...

Looks like my Alaska 738 got accepted yesterday. After a horrible start, my acceptance ratio is now well above 30%.

Thanks for all your help.

I just reworked the NW above and also edited a shot of a QX.

Can I get some feedback on those two?

Quoting Stevemchey (Reply 7):

Both have the colors over-saturated, especially the QX. Both also need a little brightening.
NW has some pretty obvious jaggies from oversharpening too (registration, underside of fuselage...)

All issues that should be fixable.

Thanks a lot Dlowwa. I just went back to these two and tried to fix them according to your pointers.

Any better now?

I realized I have to do some more work on the Mexicana... it was a late arrival and the light was poor.  Sad

However, I have one more:

Yeah, there's a bit of a color cast, and it's a little soft. Should be fixable.

However, I have one more:

Could do with a little more yellow (vs. blue), but otherwise looks good.

As for the NW and QX from before, they both look better, although I can still see a little bit of jaggies on the NW... not sure if it's too much though. They could both also use a bit of a color adjustment towards the yellow/red side. And looking at them again, it seems like they might be a little low in the frame too. Again, all resolvable issues.

I have a feeling that I am slowly getting better at editing, but I am still insecure when it comes to uploading them without consulting you guys here. Can I get some more feedback on these ones?
