Mitchell Identification

Thu Aug 20, 2009 11:15 am

Unfortunately this image is not up to Airliners standards but I wish to identify the aircraft shown here at Duxford in July 1986 for my own collection.

Big version: Width: 1026 Height: 684 File size: 359kb

The Venom FB1 is J-1605 and the Comet XK695, but I am unable to identify the B-25 Mitchell.
My guess is that it is N88972.
Is anyone able to positively identify this aircraft for me please?

Many thanks to both of you for your prompt replies.

You didn't really have to rub it in Jurgen, but you're quite right - my search was inadequate on this occasion  embarrassed

Put it down to  old
