Not The Best Week For Fokkers At Airshows

Perusing the daily submissions came across these two interesting shots. At first glance I thought it was 2 different shots of the same event, then I realized the aircraft had slightly different schemes. And the cornfield thingee kinda gave it away. 2 nose-overs one day apart on opposite sides of the Atlantic by the same model a/c. And no fatalities. Weird!

Coincidence? Intriguing nonetheless. I like the bottom one where it's got that small plume of dust coming up like you get in FS!

Not weird at all. Coincidence? Yes.

When you combine a tailwheel (or tailskid) with a narrow-track main undercarriage and a very small rudder the slightest crosswind will cause problems on landing, especially since most pilots nowadays have very little taildragger experience.
