Recommendations For A Recovery Software

Hi all,

last month I was forced to delete images from a CF card when I got into a situation where photography was not really appreciated. Does anybody here know a good (free) software that can be used to recover those pictures? The pictures on the card are not that special (usual shots taken in a scrapyard) but I wouldn't mind having them for my collection.

I used to use this freeware program that was quite good in recovering files. I think it was this one: http://www.pandorarecovery.com/
Nikon D90 + Nikkor f4.5-5.6 18-105mm + Tamron f4-5.6 70-300mm

Not sure if you use a Mac or a PC, but I've had great luck with Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery Software

Nothing like Easy Recovery Professional by OnTrack... This is paid software but really useful and can even repair recovered files from parts when was recovered from defragmented disc/card. I used it a lot of times and really helped me.
I found it cracked on p2p so got it for free.
I used it on the same situation when was forced by FB... years ago near ORD cargo facility to delete pictures.
Best way to recover for me was this software and USB card reader
