Dear screeners,

kudos for the very quick screening time these last couple of weeks!

Great job, and it makes it so much more enjoyable to see the result of our hard work so much quicker!

Indeed! It was at 8000 or so when I uploaded a batch of photos a couple weeks ago. It's just over 6000 right now.

That is ridiculous - that's like 2006 numbers or something:

Let's not forget the queue was maybe more than double what it is today around Labor Day when there was the uploading issue. A huge kudos to the screeners for making it around a 5-6 day turnaround now.

Yes I just checked my mails (early morning here in Germany) and could not believe that the photos I uploaded last friday were already screened!

Great job by the screening team! Thanks a lot. Like Notaxonrotax says, it is really more enjoyable like this.

I hope some site problems won't ruin this great work any time soon!

Indeed, great job! Especially considering the uploading problem a few weeks ago, so reducing the queue down so much that it takes each photo less than a week to go through is really great work.

I've read a thread about the screening process in screeners view, but the thread is from 2006 and the images are no longer available. Its possible show us some prints about the screeners work?

Thanks everyone for the recognition. Climbing out of the hole from September site issues was a tough slog. Most of the screening team input to the increased effort, but there are a few who did incredible amounts of work to gain space in the queue.

Yes, when the queue gets lower, uploads also go up so the effort to keep the queue at 6,000 increases. For example, we have been around and over 1400 uploads per day the past three days. Seems everyone wants to get their images in on a short queue.

The short queue and the effort to keep it short is very much appreciated. Having a turn-round time of only a few days is so much more useful than the "other place" where the queue almost 3 weeks now.

Wonderful to see the queue nearing 5000 which means that the photos will be added in a few days only.

Thanks also for taking your extra time to give me personal information when you had to reject, making it so much easier to reedit and then have better success the second time. Much appreciated!

Having had some experience in this field over the last three years (at some other other place, based in Germany ...), I know what it takes to do and - even more importantly - to maintain such an effort. So thanks a lot to everyone involved and let's hope for the screening time to remain as convenient as it is right now!

A big THANK YOU to the screeners for putting in such hard work and reducing the queue to what it is now. In my 9 years of being on Airliners.net I believe this is the lowest I've seen it.
