Graduated Filters

Good morning all,
I just had a photo rejected for using a gradated filter, specifically the one in Lightroom. I did a bit of searching but I can't seem to find the line in the rejection guide that says it's not allowed. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Did it come out in a forum post from the Head Screeners?

Thanks,
SR

You'd better ask what's wrong with using that filter I think... it's not like the photo cannot be rejected if it's not in the rules.

This falls under the editing rejection as the filter is applied in post processing.

For what it's worth, I think you're right - I can't find anything in the Rejection Guide or in the related thread about editing:

Manipulations / Supensions Guideline For All. (by [email protected] Apr 15 2005 in Aviation Photography)

If I read that, I might have assumed filters that affect the whole image would be OK.

But anyway, it's just one of those things you learn with experience uploading here.
