As far as I know I'm one of the only spotters out of Charleston which is home to the newest Boeing facility. So I'd like as much constructive feedback as possible as I'd like to start contributing to this community. I've been visiting a.net for a decade plus but finally decided to start trying to submit photos. But before I do I'd like to correct my mistakes here on the forums before I waste the screeners time.
United and Air Europa were both taking deliveries of 787's late afternoon today. Charleston International is also an AFB so spots are limited and photography isn't the most tolerated activity. Due to the limitation of spots, nearly all of these photos are back lit so I'm not sure they are up to par for the site. Here they are.
Air Europa Taxiing Out
The crop here is a little tight so not sure if motive would be a factor. I couldn't capture the whole aircraft due to spot limitations.

Air Europa Rotate
Heavily backlit so I'm not sure if this one is salvageable.

Again backlit but the exposure looks a little better to me. Also I feel like the blurry light pole would give me a rejection.

One other thing. I use Lightroom to edit all my raw images. I'm losing a lot of quality when I'm resizing my photos down from ~5000px wide to 1200ish wide. All the above are original or larger files.

I've seen the above three links. I would recommend you to give up those two "Rotate" photos as the light condition of those are so poor ( Backlit ) it's hard to edit and both of those Rotate photos are blurry especially the front part.
Taxi one looks much better than those and the quality looks good to me. But the cropping has problem i think. Not quiet sure about the composition. And i suggest you to show us the photos that have already been edited by you because screener can not see your original photo.
Regarding to this problem, i seldom use LR to edit spotting pictures i usually use PS. But for the quality problem you may need to make sure that the Quality Value is the maximun before you save it.
If your computer has Photoshop, you can also move the photo that you have already finished editing to PS and then resize it in PS and then save it with the best quality. ( But this way would be little bit complicated ).

I agree with Harry's feedback about the rotation shots. They will not be accepted. RE. the Air Europa, as Harry suggested, the crop can be improved. Right now the window and the main landing gear are clipped. Try cropping to show the engine only and make sure no windows are cropped out of the frame. Exposure and quality are fine. Just remember that cropped images are not eligible for Priority Screening.

Also, keep in mind that resizing should be one of the very first steps in your workflow, probably after cropping/rotating. If you adjust the brightness/contrast, sharpen, and then resize that's where you can lose quality.

Guys, thanks so much for the feedback! Pretty much figured the backlighting was too extreme for the rotate shots. But here is an updated crop of the AIr Europa taxiing out. I brought it all the way to the engine and resized it down to 1900 at export. All settings are maxed out. Is the quality still there?

Looks low in frame for me (I'd suggest cropping just to the roof of the building in the background), but otherwise very nice.

This one just caught my eye as well. If it looks acceptable I'm not too sure how I'd crop it. I wasn't able to get the left wing in frame. Thinking I should just crop it to the top of the tail and left engine if everything else is fine.

By the tail, the airline is Xiamen Airlines.

The first one is to tight on the wings, should be a problem and looks like it needs clockwise rotation in my opinion.
On the third link, I would crop slightly to the left of the end of the yellow construction behind engine number one and on the right a little looser compared to the left. Would use counterclockwise rotation also.
Being a new registration to database it may receive priority screening, though I'm not sure cropping the wings would disqualify.
