Thanks Tim; will keep the 3rd one in queue and maybe fix the first two later

Post-Screening updates:

N478WN rejected for blurry and quality

"Winnie Mae" rejected for blurry; should I appeal this? Otherwise I'll resize it to 1024 wide.

SWA: Definitely blurry towards the tail.

Winnie May: Whole image looks a little blurry, particularity around the tiles. Not worth the appeal, and to be honest, I don't know if it will work at 1024.

N7833A Window view looks OS. Jaggeis are visible on trailing edges of winglet, awing flaps and spoilers. Perhaps a little less sharpening or sharpen in layers and erase the jaggies.
The 2 AA ERJ's look blurry to me, especially 1JA.

Thanks Jehan; I have applied UM only once but will not apply sharpening on re-edit.

The 2 AA ERJs will be removed from queue; will resize the two to mask the blurriness.

IMHO, it looks like it has some noise/grain, and some jagged edges (Possibly JPEG compression)
But check with an actual screener first...

Thanks,

I have a photo of N761ND uploaded as priority and was originally rejected for soft and UE; corrected both of those and was rejected again for UE again, as well as high contrast; I didn't think that the contrast was bad so I left the contrast as is and also bumped up the exposure settings; uploaded the third time and rejected for high contrast and UE again, plus noise; if I lower the contrast and/or increase exposure of the photo, either the photo will have a grey feel or there would be a blow-out of the nose area or both. Is there any way I could appeal one of the rejected photos?

Here below is the most recently rejected photo:

Lighting is not the best for this image. Could use a boost to exposure and contrast to improve the lighting (check histogram). But, the nose area looks blurry to me. Too many issue with this one for me to accept it.

Thanks Jehan; I actually got the photo accepted to the database already after adjusting the exposure and even toning down the contrast; I have also adjusted the color settings to blue to correct yellow cast.

I can see some sharp edges on the wing. Also the top middle cloud looks very oddly cut off. Did you clone there?

For this edit, I have never used any cloning in this photo; I haven't cropped while editing this photo; is there any way to remove sharp artifacts from the edge of the wing if I haven't used Unsharp Mask to sharpen the photo?

Maybe, that will likely vary from screener to screener.

However, Bump the exposure on the second a tad, and a little less contrast and it should be good to go!

Hi everyone! It's been two months since I've asked for feedback, but this is a re upload of a rejected photo for blurriness; it's a long-shot attempt but was wondering if this is passable this time?

Image

And in response to the PM I've received from my rejection email, this is the best one of the two that I could edit from.

Hi,
please consider that blurry is generally not fixable, especially if its allover like in this case.
If you only have a small part that is blurry like the tail or so one might be able to mask it by applying quite some sharpening or chosing a very small sizes. Again this is rather masking than fixing which is not possible.

But generally if a shot is blurry, you will only have chances with maybe another shot from the sequence that is sharper or shooting it again. So unless blurry would be incorecctly used I would generally recommend to let it be when it gets named on a rejection.

Hi; I just have a photo of N436WN in the newer "Heart" livery and my upload was "deprioritized," despite no accepted photo of the particular aircraft in the newer livery yet; my photo id is #5789847; why is this the case?

I cannot see any reason why it would have been deprioritzed, so I'm thinking it was an oversight? I went ahead and screened it for you.

Hi guys,

I have reuploaded the same rejected photo (unedited) for motive with the "Airport Overview" previously unchecked; the following categories selected for that photo are as follows:

Category: Airliner/Other, Airline/Other, Normal/Other Paint, Tail/Winglet, Airport Overview

Let me know if I should make changes to the selections of the categories above; thanks!
