Lighting is nice. However, image is quite soft and blurry and there is noise visible.

Hey there Arnold,

The image is underexposed and also has a blue/green color cast. Main titles look a tad blurry to me as well...

hi,

Just had this one rejected for 'unmotivated crop'. What does that mean? - crop not good enough motive for acceptance? I've tried my best to crop it without cutting off the engines nozzles, or any significant part of the aircraft.

But surely I've seen plenty of others in the database with a similar crop..... kindly advise - thank you. Is this worth an appeal?

I am not a fan of crops that show half to three quarters of the airplane. However, you are correct in that there are other images in the DB with similar crops. Is that the only reason the image was rejected. I figured the glare would have drawn an "Overexposed"rejection. Image also looks soft to me.

Yes, only this reason for rejection....

Here's why your photo was rejected:

- Motive
- Personal Message

I rejected it and I stand by the point that for me it is an unmotivated crop, as I struggle do see the motivation for such a crop. Yes you didn't cut any engines or so, but to me it's not an attractive crop.
To be fair you do have a point in that some similar shots are in the db, so feel free to appeal, I'd say the motive is borderline.

There's no way I would call it overexposed because of such a tiny glare. To me it doesn't look particularly soft neither.
